Vault 33: Rumors of the Doors Unsealed
Nukelanta — Beneath the layers of blood, grime, and the degenerates who operate the dirt roads of Bartertown, something is rumbling. Reports of tremors have poured in from all over the Nukelanta wastes, and we have dispatched archivists to investigate.
“All I knows is when that word is floating around the dead come back. I done did find myself outside that there vault after taking a lethal blow.” says Boscoe, a known Sons of Liberty affiliate.
Boscoe is referring to “Lazarus” or more specifically, “Project Lazarus,” the biggest mystery of the wastes this last year. Apparently some unlucky (or perhaps lucky?) wastelanders found their way into the vault itself, and within the vault, uncovered some of the secrets surrounding Project Lazarus.
This discovery wasn’t without its fair share of bloodshed, but that’s normal for most wasteland discoveries. No one is surprised that the Khan’s were at the middle of the massacre that occured not even 100 yards from the mouth of Vault 33.
“Those backstabbing f**ks...
“...got me as I was trying to go in but they couldn’t figure out how to get in. We still had the keys.” says Boscoe.
It seems that after recovering the keys, Boscoe and associates were the ones who were able to enter the vault, and as far as this archivist was able to uncover, are the only individuals who are aware of the secrets of Project Lazarus.
When others were questioned about the contents of the vault, they were evasive or wholly unresponsive.
“What I can say is Rebirth is a curse death Hides” is all that Bryan Henricost, member of the Crusade would divulge.
“Vault 33? How do you know about that flustercuck?” says Roadkill, associations unknown.
We may never find out what really happened down there.
